unbelievable elation from the quiet giant
plenty of critics have written him off from the goals chart...(including myself)
but hopefully this begins a new chapter in his career and he can continue to plunder more goals for himself..(finally do see that bit of confidence in him.. looking to shoot instead of always finding a pass for his teammates)

watching such an inspired display has left me wondering if hardwork REALLY pays off...
of coz in soccer.. u get a lucky bounce or deflection( just like crouch's 1st goal)
or maybe the goalie felt pity for you and let the ball slip through ( again like crouch's 1st goal)
but the bottom line is.. he DID put the ball in the back of the net.. period
will i ever get lucky breaks with studies???
a lucky mcq test(never occurred to me in my entire sad existance)
an easy test for me to score...
even a paper where i can safely complete..
none of this ever happened...

so does hardwork really pay off??
