vcd shops...

hmm not sure if this is another singaporean trait.. but am i seeing more and more pple getting a kick out of watching a short clip of a vcd that the shop is selling??
i mean its almost as if the shop was selling porn or somethin.. the number of pple crowding round a 21'' tv is amazing
and is not that the shop screens the ENTIRE disc.. its only like a short 10min segment???
but seeing how these pple get transfixed.. oh my... totally out of this world..
the current 'screening' is that of initial D.. so understandably screeching tyres ring throughout the entire underpass.. sch kids..( boys AND girls alike) trying to imitate the way jay chou drives.. (pretty obvious this is a WRONG method to teach driving to these innocuous kids)
even the aunties and uncles arent spared by this.. jamming up the entire walkway..
i mean guys.. they are showing only a 10 min segment.. watch and go lar.. if u want to watch more.. get the darn vcd!! how much only... 10bucks?

but then.. why do i know... damn! im doing it myself...

Very unfortunate result for SPurs.. they were matching CHelski stride for stride, before a hash of a decision so sent Mido off for alleged elbowing.. poor poor decision mr referee..
spirited match from west ham.. though they do seem to have a common trait with LIverpool.. misfiring strikers
west brom too seem to show signs of that style that got them out of relegation.. but again.. poor finishing got them nothing from the game..
milan baros marked his debut with a goal.. once again confirming the fact that EX-liverpool players ALWAYS perform betta away from Anfield.... wats up with that...
Liverpool not playing this wkend.. due to the super cup match against cska moscow.. proving again that benitez is a one european night a match kind of manager.. pulling another escape act in a european final.. cisse could be out.. owen could be back..(YAY!!) hope all this will be settled soon..

1st i went to sch SUPER early just to be in time to ballot for my tutorial classes... and hold and behold.. the classes were not available for balloting.. WTF..
2nd got lost trying to find f*cking LT32.. and its like no link with the LTs AT ALL!!! WTF..
3rd totally flunked my audition for band... how embarrassing!!!!
audition 101: neva.. and i say NEVA change ur audition piece at the LAST moment.. it totally screws u up..

accompanied my dad to the hospital for his check-up today.. realised how fortunate i am to have a healthy body at the moment..
warms my heart to see these elderly people, despite the pain they are sufferring, manage a smile at you in acknowledgement..
as life expectancy in singapore increases.. will our bodily function keep up as well?
will we become burdens to our progeny?
will we be able to muster enough courage and happiness like the several of them do...
its an aging population out there..
be thankful for your youth..
